Mt Field National Park 2023 -

Mt Field National Park is around 1.5 hrs from Hobart. I have been inspired by my many visits to the park over the years, and the work that has resulted is ongoing. I am particularly drawn to the plant-life in the area. I worked as a flower farmer for 10 years, growing Proteaceae and native flowers, so I am interested in the way the plants differ when they grow in the wild, compared to when they are cultivated. I also love the colours in the landscape in the Mt Field area and the rugged terrain. These works are loosely connected by their geographical inspiration, but for me, the colour also unites them.
