Grace Gladdish

Tasmanian Artist

I have been an exhibiting artist for 30 years, with solo shows including painting, sculpture, ceramics, collage and printmaking. For the last 10 years, I have been focusing on printmaking. A decade as a flower farmer left me with a deep love of native plants and the environments that produce them. Now a full time artist, I make work inspired by Tasmania, its landscape and the plants that inhabit it.

Coming Up …

Throughout May I will be exhibiting some of my new collage pieces in a group show ‘Dialogue’, bringing together the work of ceramicists and printmakers from Tasmanian Ceramics Association and Hunter Island Press. The show will be at Social Gallery in the Salamanca Arts Centre.

Coming up …

I’m running a workshop at Hunter Island Press over winter. I will be focussing on the design process required to create a print specifically for hand colouring. Looking forward to it! Check out the Hunter Island Press website for details.
