Grace Gladdish is a full-time artist living in Tasmania who works with watercolour, linocut and collage. A decade as a native flower farmer birthed a love of native plants and the environments that produce them. Drawing inspiration from the wild Tasmanian landscapes that surround her and particularly the high country and alpine regions, Grace combines linocut and watercolour, making hybrid works on paper that are both printmaking and painting.  Grace also cuts and tears her own Lino prints to create unique collage compositions which she then paints with watercolour.

Grace regularly exhibits in Tasmania and nationally, and has had more than 10 solo shows.  In 2024, Grace received the Highly Commended award at the Bay of Fires Art Prize. More recently Grace has been named a finalist in the 2026 National Works on Paper Prize to be held at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery in September, and the 2026 Hadley’s Prize for Australian Landscape.  She holds an Honours Degree in Visual Arts from Queensland University of Technology.
