‘Segment 2, Mt Field’ is from a series of works celebrating the Mt Field National Park. This piece was created from one of the 2 blocks that made up my larger linocut ‘Looking Up’ (now sold out). Segment 2 shows the ridge of the mountain, with the tops of the tall eucalypts reaching up toward the craggy rock faces at the peak of the ridge.
This linocut measures approximately 30cm (12") wide by 40cm (18") high, not including signature. The paper is larger still, as pictured. Each print is numbered and signed with this being a small edition of 10. I print using oil-based relief printing ink on Stonehenge paper. Each linocut is then individually hand painted with watercolour.
This unframed linocut will be shipped securely in a mailing cylinder.
