Large Landscape Collages

These landscape collages are made by tearing and cutting my prints and finding ways that they connect. Following the lines through feels like drawing and when suddenly a shape emerges from the pieces, it feels as if it has always been there, waiting to be uncovered. The first collages were primitive, simply using strips torn from my lino prints. I enjoy exploring how far I can push this, to make landscapes.
